Bite-sized Questions
What has been your mostmemorable dining experience? Too many to mention. I’m spoilt. Some days, a perfect taco al pastor from A Mexico City hole in the wall. Other, some vast and endless tasting menu. At the moment, I’d find it pretty hard to beat Central in Lima. Is there anything you wouldnevertry? Goat’s cheese. Anything else is fine. What’s your favourite comfort food? Probably cottage pie. Or a seriously spicy noodle soup. If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? I don’t love anything enough to to eat it every single day. Even caviar and risotto with white truffles would lose their appeal after a week. After a long week, what’s your tipple of choice? Probably something red, and teenage, from Bordeaux. What are the three finer things in life that you secretly indulge in? I’m so openly greedy that I don’t really have any secret indulgences. I feel culinary honesty is the best approach, from high to low. If I like it, I eat it. All my eating vices are out in the open. I do love a Macdonald’s Cheese burger though. And a processed cheese slice. And a Kentucky Zinger too. Describe yourself in three foodie words… Not a ‘foodie’. |
