Known for his impeccable technique, dedication to the craft of cooking and ceaseless mentorship, Chef Robuchon was the most decorated Michelin-starred chef of all time.

Taking place to pay homage to one of history’s most sublime chefs, the culinary team at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon NYC will create an unforgettable dining experience for guests, bringing a combined 50+ years of experience working with Chef Robuchon to the the kitchen.

1 Alain Verzeroli, Director of Culinary Operations
Having worked with Mr. Robuchon for nearly 25 years, Verzeroli most recently served as Executive Chef of Château Restaurant Joël Robuchon in Tokyo, where his guidance led to annual receipt of three Michelin stars for ten consecutive years.

2 Christophe Bellanca, Corporate Executive Chef
Bellanca previously served as Executive Chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon New York at the Four Seasons Hotel (two Michelin stars). He then spent several years traveling the world with Mr. Robuchon, training alongside him and his teams across the globe. He is currently the Executive Chef of L’Atelier and Le Grill de Joël Robuchon NYC.

3 Salvatore Martone, Corporate Executive Pastry Chef
 Martone worked with Mr. Robuchon for over a decade, previously serving as Executive Pastry Chef at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City (two Michelin stars), and Joël Robuchon Restaurant (three Michelin stars) and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon (one Michelin star) at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He is currently the Executive Pastry Chef at L’Atelier and Le Grill de Joël Robuchon NYC.

4 Tetsuya Yamaguchi, Corporate Head Baker
Yamaguchi spent 18 years in Tokyo working for all five of Mr. Robuchon’s Tokyo locations, and went on to curate the bread programs at Robuchon restaurants across Asia and North America. He is currently the Head Baker at L’Atelier and Le Grill de Joël Robuchon NYC.
