Forks at the ready for this exciting fine dining event. Dorchester Collection’s contemporary Mayfair hotel, 45 Park Lane, has announced the latest in its chef series – and it’s set to be a treat for all the tastebuds.
James Knappett of two Michelin starred dining concept Kitchen Table will be joining David McIntyre to create a special tasting menu this March – featuring a six-course feast set to celebrate both American cooking and British ingredients.
Available for one night only on March 4, the two chefs will create dishes that combine their talents, putting quality of ingredients at the core of the menu.
Sandia Chang, wife of James, the creative behind restaurant bubbledogs, sommelier and general manager of Kitchen Table, will also personally select the grower Champagnes and wines to be introduced to the restaurant for the evening; complimenting wines selected by CUT’s head sommelier Frederic Marti.
James will be the latest to join David within the kitchens of CUT at 45 Park Lane, and follows a series of collaborations with internationally acclaimed chefs and restaurants including Francis Mallmann, who made his London debut at CUT at 45 Park Lane, Alain Ducasse and restaurants Spago and Chinois on Main.
Championing creativity in the kitchen, James Knappett is chef-patron of Bubbledogs, a fun and unique concept that pairs gourmet hotdogs with grower champagnes selected by his wife and sommelier, Sandia. First launched to bring wider awareness of Champagne producers, the restaurant now proudly holds two Michelin stars. Known for his attention to detail and ever-changing dishes, guests are set for a rare treat indeed at this upcoming evening.
