The Austrian came to Berlin in 2010 and took on his first post as chef de cuisine in Horváth. Thankful for the opportunity given him by the previous owners, Edith Berlinger and Dietmar Schweitzer, he has stood successfully at the helm of this traditional restaurant ever since.
Only one year later, in 2011, he earned his first Michelin star, followed by 17 points in the Gault Millau. After taking over the restaurant with his partner, Jeannine Kessler, in 2014, the two of them celebrated their second star in the Michelin Guide with their team one year later.
