Ginori 1735, the renowned porcelain brand, in partnership with Hotel de la Ville, a distinguished Rocco Forte property, is unveiling the first-ever Café Ginori in Rome on 8 December 2024. This exclusive venue will showcase a boutique and a menu crafted by celebrated chef Fulvio Pierangelini.
Set within the iconic Hotel de la Ville, the space invites guests on an immersive journey that intertwines tradition with contemporary elegance. Under the creative direction of Chef Fulvio Pierangelini, who oversees culinary innovation across Rocco Forte Hotels, the menu reflects the essence of Ginori 1735’s signature style.
Drawing inspiration from the brand’s collections — Oriente Italiano, Il Viaggio di Nettuno, and Labirinto — the dishes celebrate local flavours and seasonal ingredients while paying homage to the artistry of porcelain. Guests can look forward to specialities such as scampi with caramelized Sciacca mango, artichokes, and Asetra caviar; a refined cacio e pepe with lobster; and a Caesar salad elevated with crispy chicken and seasonal truffles.
Open daily from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Café Ginori offers three distinctive dining experiences: an all-day menu available until 7:00 PM, as well as dedicated lunch and dinner menus featuring daily specials that highlight the freshest local produce.
The ambience at Café Ginori draws from the refined aesthetic of Ginori 1735’s flagship boutiques. Every detail, from the Oriente Italiano wallpaper to the cushions and upholstery featuring Maison’s “Domus” home décor collection, reflects the brand’s timeless elegance. The interiors blend bold patterns and intricate designs, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and chic.
Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by the boutique, a treasure trove of Ginori 1735’s exquisite porcelain creations. From collectable plates to artfully designed home décor items, each piece offers a tangible connection to the brand’s heritage. More than just a dining destination, Café Ginori at Hotel de la Ville promises to offer a sensory journey combining gastronomy, artistry, and design in the heart of Rome.
