What first started as a simple vision of showcasing the enormous wave of new culinary talent that has swept over the British food scene, has now celebrated its third annual award ceremony. The Young British Foodies ceremony from Amy Thorne, the founder ofTASTE PR, food journalist, Chloe Scott-Moncrieffand Lily Jones, founder ofLily Vanilli, has now become an event firmly established on the calendars of all the young, aspiring and talented young Brits, wanting to make their mark on the industry.
The exclusive event, that has taken residency in The Rex Whistler Restaurant at the infamous TateBritain for the last two years, commenced with the Tate signature cocktail of a ‘Tate aged Negroni’,followed by a sumptuous four-course dinner with specially selected wines to match the gourmet offerings.
Along with their longstanding partnership with British producers, the Tate is also committed to championing emerging young food and drink talent.
As the winners list get stronger with every year that passes, it is no surprise that theevent was a roaring success of the highest caliber. Winners from the ceremony have been announced as:
