Christoph Schmahhas run restaurant Graf Leopold at the Schlosshotel Kurfürstliches Amtshaus in Daun for the last two years.
Prior to this, he gained eight years of professional experience in restaurants across Germany, including the Traube in Vallendar, Landhaus Feckl in Ehningen, the Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, Le Canard in Hamburg, theWaldhotelSonnora in Dreis and Hummerstübchen Düsseldorf – all of which have been awarded with Gault Millau points or Michelin stars.
Most recently, Christoph and his team of creative young chefs were awarded their first Michelin star, putting restaurant Graf Leopold into the Michelin Guide Germany 2013.
