Welcoming guests from early January onwards, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is set to bring a fresh dose of luxury to China’s busy capital.
Located mere steps away from Beijing’s Forbidden City, The PuXuan will combine culinary artistry with bespoke hospitality.
The new opening is the latest luxe hotel from Urban Resort Concepts (URC), a China-based luxury hotel management company that creates unique hospitality experiences throughout Asia.
With 92 elegant guest rooms and 24 even more opulent suites, each space (designed by by internationally acclaimed German architect Ole Scheeren) will feature handcrafted, artisanal furniture by Hermès-owned lifestyle brand SHANG XIA – as well as wow-worthy views across the city skyline.
Walls will also be clad with artwork curated by the Guardian Art Centre, known for featuring some of the finest contemporary Chinese art in the region today.
There’s no chance of gourmands going hungry, either. The hotel’s two flagship restaurants will whet appetites with both French and modern Cantonese on offer.
Guests can dine at a modern French restaurant with Chef Ivan Miguez at the helm (formerly with 3-Michelin star Ultraviolet) plus, a contemporary Cantonese gastronomic restaurant courtesy of Executive Chef Waikit Yeung.
Both menus place seasonal ingredients at the core – using only the freshest, local ingredients.
An additional rooftop bar will also add to the offering later in 2019, along with a UR SPA that will offer treatments using CHA LING – “L’Espirit du Thé”, a brand developed by Guerlain that blends the healing and rejuvenating properties of traditional Chinese Pu’Er tea with the art of French beauty.
With uncompromising standards of aesthetics and service, The PuXuan is set to redefine what Bejing imagines of luxury, bringing a fresh dose of unbeatable opulence to the capital city.
Set to open January 2019. For more information on The PuXuan Hotel and Spa please visit www.thepuxuan.com.
