I began my real estate career nearly 30 years ago, inspired by the idea of blending global design with London’s unique character. This led me to establish Concord London and partner with visionaries like Terry Hui to broaden our reach.

Marylebone Square was particularly challenging due to complex planning issues and heritage constraints. We overcame these hurdles through detailed planning, active collaboration with local stakeholders and creative problem-solving. The result was a development that respects Marylebone’s distinctive character while providing modern functionality and essential urban amenities.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE A MOMENT WHEN COMMUNITY FEEDBACK SIGNIFICANTLY INFLUENCED A PROJECT’S DESIGN OR DIRECTION?
Early in the planning of Marylebone Square and W1 Place, feedback from local residents was pivotal. Their insights — affecting material choices and the design of public spaces — ensured the developments reflected the area’s charm, resulting in a project that truly resonates with the community.
HOW IS CONCORD LONDON INTEGRATING SUSTAINABILITY INTO ITS FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS?
Sustainability is integral to our work. At Marylebone Square, we incorporated solar panels, grey water recycling, and extensive EV charging facilities to reduce environmental impact and support London’s net-zero goals.
WHAT EMERGING TRENDS IN REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT DO YOU BELIEVE WILL SHAPE LONDON’S SKYLINE IN THE NEXT DECADE?
Sustainable practices, adaptive reuse and smart technology will continue to transform London’s skyline. Additionally, mixed-use spaces that blend living, working and community functions will be key in creating future-ready urban environments.
HOW DO YOU MEASURE THE LONG-TERM SUCCESS OF A PROJECT BEYOND ITS COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE?
For us, success is defined by a lasting, positive impact on communities. Our projects W1 Place and Marylebone Square are evaluated not only on their commercial achievements but also on how they enhance local life and provide enduring benefits.
WHAT DO THE NEXT FIVE YEARS LOOK LIKE FOR CONCORD LONDON?
At Concord London, we’re always looking ahead to create high-quality, design-led developments that enhance the fabric of the city. Over the next five years, we will continue investing in our neighbourhood by purchasing the historic and stately mansion block at 2 Weymouth Street and the thriving thoroughfare of Great Portland Street. These upcoming developments reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional residential and mixed-use spaces in prime London locations.
