A sophisticated oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the famous city, the Maybourne Beverly Hills will provide a tranquil space for guests to unwind. Previously known as the Montage Beverly Hills, the 201-roomed property valued at over $400 million was acquired by the Qatar-based Maybourne Hotel Group in 2019 and has now been rebranded.
The hotel is situated a block east of the illustrious Rodeo Drive and boasts a lavish, sand-hued façade that pays homage to early-Californian architecture. On the inside, the hotel is home to 5 elegant restaurants and bars, a chic rooftop pool and the most sumptuous selection of guestrooms and suites spread across 19 categories.
The Maybourne Hotel Group which also operates luxury London hotel trio Claridge’s, The Berkeley and The Connaught, will renovate the new Beverly Hills property to bring it in line with its British counterparts. The group will work closely with the Montage team for the foreseeable future, to bring their much-loved luxury concept stateside.
Montage International is a Californian luxury hotel and resort management company founded by Alan Fuerstman, which operates 5 properties in the United States. Also undergoing expansion, the brand is set to open new hotels in Mexico and Healdsburg, along with two under the Pendry Hotel brand, in the near future.
The acquisition forms part of part of the brand’s global expansion plan which aims to take its characteristic flair for European luxury to new markets across the globe. Other international hotel projects will be announced by the company in due course.
