New Shops to Try and Food to Taste
Porto Montenegro has one simple ethos: believing in the pleasure of leisure. It’s why you’ll find over 70 international fashion brands, shops, galleries, restaurants and bars on its waterfront.
With so much on offer, below is a brief overview of what you can enjoy this summer…
The Height of Fashion
Joie de vivre is central to the spirit of Porto Montenegro’s South Village, with Strada Navale now a world-class shopping destination. Boss, Cartier, Chopard, Dolce & Gabbana, Hublot, Rolex, Valentino and many more already line the promenade.
This season they’re joined by the long-awaited Bvlgari store and a host of forward-thinking footwear brands: Pretty Ballerinas, Stuart Weitzman, Le Silla, and Giuseppe Zanotti at the Shubeshu store.
Dior also returns for a second season to present Dior’s wardrobe designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri (the creative director of Dior’s women’s collections). This summer line celebrates la dolce vita and features Dior Maison clothing and accessories.
Fresh Food
For lovers of gastronomy, there are two new standouts to sample.
The first is Barquero, a Latin-inspired gastro-bar with unforgettable views of Jetty 1. Barquero adds to Porto Montenegro’s already-delicious selection of restaurants.
The second is Godo which will serve up top-quality ice cream and sweets. Don’t worry about picking the perfect flavour; you can always go back tomorrow to try another.
Musings from the Marina
Summer’s hustle and bustle has arrived at Porto Montenegro’s marina, with some of the world’s most fascinating boats now calling its harbour home.
A lot has happened in the past few weeks, and a lot is set to happen in the coming months. Here are some highlights…
New Clean Marina Accreditation
Porto Montenegro has become the first marina in Europe to receive Clean Marina accreditation from The Yacht Harbor Association. This accreditation is designed to help marinas ensure their operations do not pollute coastal and inland waters.
This award recognises Porto Montenegro’s team and tenants’ work in promoting sustainability across its marina. It’s an important step in Porto Montenegro’s sustainability ‘journey’ and one they are incredibly proud of.
The Return of the Superyacht Summer Games
Porto Montenegro’s team has just hosted the fourth edition of the thrilling Superyacht Summer Games. Yachting crews took part in a decathlon and sailing regatta to test their agility, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. Well done to all who took part!

A New Floating Dock
A floating dock is essential for superyacht overhaul and maintenance, and Porto Montenegro is delighted to have obtained one for Adriatic 42. This is a momentous day for both the Bay of Kotor and the entire country of Montenegro. Captain Rado Antolović, PhD (Chairman of Adriatic 42) explains…
“It is a facility that will certainly transform Montenegro’s position on the global yachting map. It is a million-dollar new generation 180-by-37-metre floating dock with a 10,000-ton lift capacity that can accommodate the world’s largest yachts.”
The ‘Oscars’ of the Superyacht World Comes to Porto Montenegro
For the first time ever, Porto Montenegro is proud to host this year’s Crew Awards between 14-16th October.
Now in its fifth year, the Crew Awards is the only competition that truly honours superyacht captains and crew for their hard work and professionalism. The awards ceremony is one of the most anticipated and glamorous weekends in the superyacht industry. So where better to host it than in Porto Montenegro?

Boka Place – Vision Unfolding
Construction continues apace at Boka Place – Porto Montenegro’s newest neighbourhood and a spot with wellness at its core.
Structural work is complete, and you can now see the outline of the apartments, retail units, and SIRO Hotel rooms which make up Boka Place’s central square. They are about to remove all temporary support frames and have already begun external works and the process of fitting out these spaces.
The area offers exceptional off-plan investment opportunities. Over 50% of spaces have already been let, and there are fewer than 10 properties now available.
What’s Coming Next at Porto Montenegro?
Porto Montenegro has been designed to be a destination with a truly year-round appeal. To do that, outdoor and indoor entertainment is being expanded, sporting and cultural events are being increased, and opportunities for creative fulfilment within an eventual five-neighbourhood community are being provided.
You may have seen some of the emergences of the next phase of this master plan already, but here’s a brief summary…
A Five-Neighbourhood Community
Today’s Porto Montenegro will become the ‘South Village’ neighbourhood, with ‘Boka Place’ joining next year as the second neighbourhood at the gateway to the village.
An exciting new ‘Synchro’ address will come after that. There, the Synchro building is being repurposed as a long-term entertainment and events centre, improving the yacht club and associated amenities, and adding new homes. This will then be followed by plans for the evolution of the tennis-centric ‘North Village’, and eventually the luxurious waterworld of ‘Park Gardens’. Each neighbourhood will have a distinct character and purpose.
Both individually and collectively, they will allow you to continue living a rewarding life less ordinary at Porto Montenegro and to consider it your home for even more of your precious time. What’s more, you’ll be able to enjoy that time with an even wider group of friends and family with broader interests and desires.
