Last night’s star-studded, soft opening of The Clocktower restaurant, in accordance with the hotels W Magazine inauguration party, went down a storm and has left us looking forward its official debut this Saturday 16th May.
Michelin star chef, Jason Atherton has long been commended on his consistency in producing top class eateries around the world including London, Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and now he has stepped across the pond to open his newest venture in New York.
The Clocktower will take its residence on the second floor of the new EDITION hotel, the newest edition to the boutique hotel group created by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International.
With a true New York downtown feel the restaurant comprises of a bar, three dining rooms and an après dinner billiards room.
As of yet no official menu details have been released, but rumor has it that it will be a combination of updated classics and new takes on traditional British dishes, staying in keeping with its Madison Avenue clientele. Knowing Jason, we are sure there will also be an extensive wine list and fabulous cocktail menu to match, making The Clocktower the new go-to destination when in New York.
